As part of World Breastfeeding Week, Mar Thoma Mission Hospital organized a comprehensive series of awareness activities on August 6, 2026, aimed at promoting vital maternal and child health knowledge across our healthcare community. The entire initiative was successfully led and conducted by Dr. Shanmugaraj S (Paediatrician), whose dedicated efforts ensured the program's resounding success.

The celebrations featured an interactive Breastfeeding Awareness Questionnaire Quiz, where Ms. Farsana (Pharmacy Department) earned 1st Prize, Mr. Anoop Koshy (MRD Department) took 2nd Prize, and Ms. Shervin (Pharmacy Department) secured 3rd Prize, alongside Special Appreciation Awards presented to Ms. Arathi (Pharmacy Department) and Mr. Ayrish (Nursing Services).

Creative talents were showcased in the Breastfeeding Awareness Poster Competition, with Ms. Neethu Raj (Nursing Services) securing 1st Prize, Mr. Johnson Chacko (Dialysis Unit) taking 2nd Prize, and Ms. Risla (Front Office) sharing 3rd Prize jointly with Ms. Nusriya (Nursing Services), while Ms. Riya (Nursing Services) received a Special Appreciation Award.

Additionally, the Breastfeeding Awareness Reels Competition highlighted digital creativity, earning special recognition for Mr. Ayrish, Ms. Nusriya, Ms. Shahana, Ms. Archana, Ms. Ann Mariya, and Ms. Nishma for their inspiring video contributions.
